The Musicquarium has extensive experience of both public and private events and always tailors the performance to accommodate each event and its audience. The bands and musicians have a huge repertoire spanning many genres and styles and can perform up to a maximum of 180 minutes (3 hours!) of top quality music. The musicians are always dressed for the occasion and can tailor their appearance to suit any occasion if required.

A complete session of top quality professional entertainment will always include the following components:

* Professional musicians (solo to 12-piece options available)
* 2 sets of live music (funk, soul, disco, rock 'n' roll, pop, rock, jazz)
* Requests taken from current repertoire list
* PA system & lighting if required (suitable for small / medium sized venues)
* Interval music (played via CD) if PA system is provided by us
* Local travel expenses
* Performance window of up to 4 hours (up to 00:00 finish, 90 mins setup required)
* Full entertainment contract giving complete piece of mind
* We can also provide additional services to tailor your event to your exact specifications.

Any number of bands/musicians can also be booked together as part of a package. This option is normally chosen for events with multiple stages such as a drinks reception, a sit down meal and/or a party. For example, you could have a selection of jazz sets (duo/trio etc) for the drinks and dinner followed by a full party band for the evening entertainment.

In addition to our standard package, we can also provide extra services in order to tailor your event to your exact specifications. The overall cost will depend on the following factors:

* Number of musicians.
* Distance travelled (most musicians are based London and the south east).
* Amount of music required for the event.
* Total time spent at the venue.
* Early set up AND/OR late finish (see additional services).
* Season (discounts can sometimes be given in quieter periods).

Your wedding will probably be the biggest and most important event of your life, so it demands entertainment of the highest quality, organised to perfection. At The Musicquarium we specialise in providing personaly tailored wedding packages to cover each stage of your day, saving you valuable time, stress and most importantly MONEY. Along with our full party band options, we can also provide a classical or jazz ensemble to create the perfect mood whenever you need it. An example itinerary covering each stage of a traditional wedding would be:

* Ceremony - Trumpet fanfare / Pianist / Jazz duo (vocal & guitar/piano) / String quartet.
* Drinks Reception - Jazz duo or trio / String quartet.
* Wedding Breakfast - Jazz ensemble (1 - 7 players, with / without vocals).
* Evening Party - Full function band (5 to 12-piece with swing/jazz options).

Each stage of the day will be tailored to your exact requirements, with song requests, timings, dress code and prices to fit with your plans. The complete wedding package will work out to be much cheaper than to hire separate groups, as you will only pay for travel expenses and equipment once. We can also fully coordinate the music for the WHOLE day rather than just part of it.

Jewish Weddings:

We also offer a full Jewish wedding package to suit your exact requirements. This would normally involve playing for the entry of the hosts, entry of the bride and groom, national anthems, background jazz and a short selection of Jewish traditional tunes.
