Hi, yes it's me....the guy who talks rubbish for four hours from 6AM till 10AM, Monday to Friday.

Well I bet you never thought you would be waking up with me Monday to Friday eh? Hopefully I can ease that very painful process of dragging yourselves out of bed and heading off to work a little easier. At the same time putting a smile on your face with my sick twisted humour, soap box moments, great music from the past forty years and putting a spring in your step..............just like the movies..............minus the soft focus.

Like many of our recruits, Simon fell in love with radio at the tender age of 15 at his local hospital radio station.

Now, a considerable number of years later, he’s older, balder and still getting away with talking on the radio!

Prior to joining 107 The Bee, Simon presented the Breakfast show at another North West station, and in a former life was a production manager for Crown wallcoverings in Darwen!

These days when he’s not working you’ll find him at home with his ever expanding army of children, or in his local Indian takeaway.

A born and bred Northerner, Adam is now back home in East Lancashire after living the student life to the extreme and he now finds himself here at 107 The Bee.
You can hear him on the Afternoon Show from 2pm until 6pm!

In pursuit of his ambition, Adam always said "you can be what you want to be" and he’s ended up presenting on his local radio station.

After being born at the early age of 2, Roy's parents spent the first 12 months of his life teaching him to walk and talk.

Ever since, they've been telling him to shut up and sit down..

Now he spends his days sleeping, whilst coming alive at night to host 'The Bee Late Show' - a perfect show for him because he's spent much of his life beeing late.

Little did people know that in June 1978 a star was born..

Lee has always had a passion for music and entertaining people. Lee's first ever single that he bought was Keith Harris and Orville (sad boy). When he was a child (and still is at times!!) he used to record music off the radio (naughty boy) and make his own DJ tapes and tried to sell them to his mates. Little did he know that years later he would be on the radio himself.

Lee has worked on numerous radio stations across the North West in Blackburn, Preston and Barrow-in-Furness presenting his infamous shows 'Kick up the 80s' and 'The Saturday Night Dance Party'. Student Radio has also been a passion for Lee and has set up 'The Zone' at a college in the North West.

As well as a passion for radio, Lee has regularly worked with many pubs and clubs across the North West entertaining the masses. Lee was also involved in the two trial broadcasts for The Bee and is delighted to have helped play a part in bringing local radio back to the people of Blackburn with Darwen, Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.

Arriving in the mid 70’s, somewhere in the northeast, Neil, or Blakes as he’s known had arrived.

Although born in Newcastle (and still carrying a slight Geordie twang), Blakes has lived and worked in Blackburn for the best part of his adult life (he didn’t become an adult til 25!)

Fulfilling his childhood ambition and becoming a Bluecoat entertainer at Pontins in Southport, Blakes stayed there for four years, until he was released for good behavior !! He moved overseas working for Airtours as an entertainer in Majorca, Malta and Gran Canaria.

Since returning and settling in Blackburn, he now is the resident DJ at the Blues Bar at Blackburn Rovers where he’s worked for four years, as well as other haunts in and around Lancashire.

After years of entertaining, comparing and DJ-ing overseas as well as in the UK, he felt ready for his next challenge….radio presenting…..and where better than his local radio station 107 The Bee!!

Stu Rogers settled in Blackburn in 2004.

Originally from Barrow in Furness, Stu dreamed of being a radio presenter from a very early age..

With a Fisher-Price record player, his parents were made to sit in silence listening to his carefully rehearsed radio shows. He spent hours writing letters by hand, to every radio station in the country requesting car stickers and kept a detailed chart of which stations had replied.

Soon, he had wired together an array of hi-fis and getto-blasters to form a bedroom radio station, which could be heard on FM radios up to three streets away. He enrolled his school friends as presenters and for several years they played jingles and adverts recorded off other radio stations mixed with old 7” singles bought from car boot sales. The fun ended when the local newspaper ran a front-page headline “Pirate radio exposed”.

After being born down south, my parents soon realised I needed to be brought up in the good old North.

So they chose Accrington..

I have recently graduated from the University of Manchester after doing a degree in Radio Production. I have some experience in radio starting with work my Student Radio station which I worked on for 3 years and then a short time at Oldham's 96.2 The Revolution.
