Judge - Mark Hill

Mark co-founded Artful Dodger in the late Nineties producing hit tracks such as 'Rewind', 'Woman Trouble' and 'Moving Too Fast'. He nurtured the fifteen year old Craig David, writing and producing Craig's hit Album, the massive multi-award winning and critically acclaimed 'Born To Do It'. Such was the huge success of their writing partnership that Wildstar (Craig's label) approached Mark to co-write and produce most of Craig's current album 'The Story Goes'.
Mark has worked with some of the biggest names on the scene including J Lo, Cristina Milian, Awa, Lemar, Corinne Bailey Rae and Liberty X, but one of his proudest experiences was working with fellow countryman and global legend Tom Jones.

Judge - Paul King

Paul’s management career started when he was persuaded to help manage The Teardrop Explodes in the early eighties. As Julian Cope went solo, Paul helped Julian become an enormously credible solo artist. Julian enjoyed immense artistic control to the point of having a lucrative record deal with Island Records and being able to release some of his material on his own independent label at the same time! Two of Julian’s greatest fans were Curt and Roland from Tears For Fears. At their request, Paul became their manager just before the release of Mad World, which went straight to number 3 in the UK charts. 20 years on Mad World was the first UK number one for 2004. Songwriters take note.

Judge - Dane Bowers

Dane anchored the R&B quartet Another Level. They had seven Top Ten singles in two years in the UK, including 1998's UK Number One "Freak Me"; and a platinum selling, self-titled debut album. 1999's Gold-selling Nexus followed, along with BRIT Awards nominations and the opening slot on Janet Jacksons European tour.
After the group split, Bowers wrote and fronted two UK Top Ten hits, for the UK Garage act Truesteppers in 2000, "Buggin'" and "Out Of Your Mind". The latter featured the first solo outing of Spice Girls, Victoria Beckham."Out Of Your Mind" reached number two, but was beaten to the Number one spot in a highly publicised "chart battle" by Spiller featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor with "Groovejet (If this aint love)".

Judge - Liz McClarnon

She has effortlessly made the leap from starlet to superstar, she’s been schmoozed by Hollywood hotshots, partied with pop royalty and recorded with the most sought after writers and producers in the world including with the legendary Robin Gibb on her recent single Woman in Love an amazing experience and one which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Among other new friends Liz speaks of are some clever chaps who write songs for the likes of Dido, Madonna, Cher, John Legend, Kylie and The Black Eyed Peas. In fact, on first meeting Liz, they decided they liked her so much they’d offer to co-write some songs with her. The result? Well, it’s genius of course! Picking up where the Kittens left off, Liz is ready to present you a smorgasbord of pop perfection. A smattering of all things great music should be, fun, sometimes poignant sometimes upbeat but above all very, very good.
