Resource: Mobile Recording Studio About Big Blue Media is a mobile sound recording studio based in Yorkshire. We can produce quality sound recordings at a price range suitable for unsigned bands and solo artists who often have a limited budget to work with but still want to get the most from their demo recordings. Because we are mobile our overheads are much lower than a normal recording studio which means you pay substantially less for a band demo.

We use quality RME and Presonus digital audio interfaces with good quality analogue pre-amps and the same microphones you would find in local recording studios. Mixdown is done using Cubase 4 and a host of top notch VST plugins including Waves Mercury bundle which contains some of the best EQ's and compressors on the market. We also use software plugins by UAD who are renown for their faithful emulation of classic and vintage audio hardware.

Everything is monitored through a pair of industry standard Mackie HR824 near field monitors and mastering is done with Steinberg Wavelab, Waves plugins and the revolutionary Harbal pro equalisation & mastering software..
