Born 1998, through a passion for good music, Shatterhand are a modern post hardcore punk band bursting with huge melodies, thundering rhythms and thought-provoking lyrics. Stuart, Brian, Dave and Mike continue to write tunes, bounce ideas off each other and constantly challenge the limits of their abilites to create as big and powerful a sound as possible. Influenced by classic punk bands such as SLF, the Clash, and compared to more recent influental bands such as the mighty Leatherface, Hot Water Music, Samiam etc, and with a diverse musical influence personally ranging from A Wilhelm Scream to Motley Crue to insane off the wall guitar muso small releases, the sound the band create is unique. Extensive UK and Ireland tours gigging with the likes of 999, Diesel Boy, Caffeine, Milloy, Turtlehead (RIP), Consumed (RIP) amongst others have secured a broad fanbase, and they continue to gain new fans wherever they play. With new tunes written, a never-ebbing passion to share their sound, . a fifth studio album and further tours and gigs are planned in 2010, so join the band and continue the roadtrip with them.
