About

- We are a 4 piece indie/rock band from Oxford called "Shakellers" who play all original tunes ranging from heavy rock to melodic tracks.

- The band consists of: Karl Harrison (guitar, keyboards, songwriter, Vocals), Dave Cummins (keyboards, guitar, songwriter, Vocals), Nathan James (bass), Ian Marris (drums).

- We have been together for a few months and have done nothing but rehearse building up a catalogue of at least 12 songs ready to perform live.

- The tunes all have catchy riffs and range from sing along tracks to songs with quality beats which hit the listener instantly. I have been writing the songs for the last 2 years whilst attempting to get the right people to perform them. Now we have the perfect mix.

- We have a rough demo completed in one day at rock rooms in oxford. Whilst not overly happy with it, it does give an idea of the tunes we create. Have added a couple of extra demo tracks from 8 track. (tracks 4 and 5).

- Many mates in Oxford and Reading already have copies of the demo enclosed and have given very positive feedback about the tracks. We have a potentially large fan base thanks to the connections of Ian and Nathan.

- We have all played in various bands before. Ian played with a group which toured Canada, I have played in a bands around Liverpool and London, Nathan has played in various bands up north and Dave has played keyboards in various reading outfits.

- We have a Marshall 275 valve state and Line 6 150 watt, Roland XP - 10 keyboard plus piano simulator, Bass guitar stack. We don't have our own PA system as yet. Both Ian and Nathan are experienced with sound systems.

- We have a website under construction (WWW.SHAKELLERS.COM) although a fan base is being built up through my facebook page using the reverb nation function and www.myspace.com/shakallers
