Band Interview

How many band members do you have?
Four: Chris on Bass; Prog on Vocals, Blues Harp & Hand Percussion; Jim on Drums and Rob on Guitar & Backing Vocals.
What year was your band formed?
2005, though in a different form to that which performs now. Since then we've been through about nine drummers and three guitar line-ups but Chris, Prog and Rob have all been there since day one.
How would you describe your music?
Rock and Punk covers but not always done as straight copies. Some songs, like 'Paint it Black' & '(Don't Fear) the Reaper', while being instantly recognisable are very much our own interpretations and we've done interesting things to Britney Spears, & Sugababes, and combined Blondie & Black Sabbath for 'Call me to the Grave'.
What live experience have you had?
Outdoor events, birthday parties, a wedding, loads of pub gigs.
What are the most recent venues you have played at?
The Harrier in Hamble, near Southampton & the Blue Boar, In Wantage, Oxfordshire (our home venue).
What type of events are you available for?
All and any, really. We've already played a wedding and birthday parties but ideally we'd like to get on the motorcycle rally circuit as this is really what our sound is best suited to.
If you are a tribute band please provide your song list here:
Do you have any Music or Merchandise for sale?
We currently hand out live CDRs at gigs and we'll soon be selling 'I'm a sweaty Growler' T-shirts.
How much notice would you need to attend an event?
This really depends on the type of event. We all have families so this has to be considered, but a fortnight is the minimum amount of time needed.
Do you have a lot of fans that attend your gigs?
We have a growing fanbase that comes to see us and some have been known to travel 70 miles to come and see us play.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
We perform the songs as if they were our own, and put everything into our performances. We can't stand covers bands who look bored and only in it for the money - we love what we do and it shows when you see us.
