Raised on Brit-monsters like The Police, The Beatles, Pink Floyd… CATCHA, naturally gravitated to a mainstream style of music. Chris Drew and Toby May share lead vocals and guitars which they blend into a truely symbiotic sound.

Their debut album recorded at lotus-records (London) nicely sums up their musical identity. Twelve no-frills tracks of stories, statements and general reflections on life. Songs like "4 real", "u noticed", "goodmorning", "smile", "princess" have a definite sweetness and childishness about them while songs like "wait a moment", "i sometimes watch" reach into the cavernous depths the mind usually chooses to avoid.

CATCHA's songs have something slightly off centre and fresh in a sometimes quirky sort of way, but touching nevertheless.
